THE ROLE
As a Service Manager at Kempower, you will lead our growing team of service engineers and technicians in the UK & Ireland region. Together with the team, you will be providing remote and on-site technical support services throughout the entire charger lifecycle, from commissioning to end-of-life services. You will play a key role in ensuring company success and customer satisfaction by overseeing the Service business, covering aftersales operations, managing service performance, and developing team and partner capabilities. This role focuses on delivering high quality service, driving team excellence, and ensuring superior customer experiences.
ROLE SPECIFICS:
Lead the UK &I Service business managing the team based in the UK and IE region supporting our customers
Represent the company in service-related topics, bringing market needs and input to global stakeholders
Develop service partners’ capabilities and quality of work to deliver a superior customer experience throughout the whole life cycle
Collaborate with sales in customer negotiations related to services and customer complaint handling, and lead operational service meetings with partners and customers.
Share information and news with internal and external stakeholders on service-related topics and developments
At Kempower, we work hybrid. This role requires occasional presence at the Bedford office, as well as travel to customer sites and partner locations.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
A relevant technical educational background
Strong experience in service operations, technical support, electrical systems, project management or related
Comfortable being the customer facing representative for the Service business in UK&IE
Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians while fostering collaboration and accountability
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to support troubleshooting both remotely and in the field
Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and service development initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills with different stakeholders, combined with a customer-centric mindset
Knowledge of ticketing systems, such as Jira, is beneficial
Experience in the automotive, EV or EV charging industries is beneficial
A national electrical work and safety certificate is considered a plus
