Service Operations Specialist - US (Durham, NC -RTP)
As a Service Operations Specialist, you will serve as the commercial and analytical engine behind our field service, supply chain, and telemetry data. Bridging the gap between corporate finance, hardware telemetry, and daily operations, you will own the service P&L truth, automate fragmented workflows across Epicor Kinetic and Databricks, and build the supply-demand models that keep our EV charging network running seamlessly.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own Service Financials & Profitability: Reconcile revenue, analyze P&L leakage, model warranty/goodwill exposure, and present Gross Profit/EBIT findings directly to leadership.
Turn Telemetry into Action: Query Databricks SQL to analyze charger uptime and utilization, combining telemetry with Jira and Epicor data for a unified view of the business.
Balance Supply & Demand: Build inventory burn-rate models, manage Epicor Kinetic PO workflows, and set safety stock levels to prevent stockouts without tying up cash.
Automate & Modernize: Eliminate manual multi-system processes using Power Automate, Python, and SQL, phasing out legacy Excel macros in favor of scalable, AI-ready workflows.
WHAT WE OFFER
Impact: Direct ownership of our service P&L, telemetry analytics, and operational automation roadmap, with high visibility and influence across both US operations and global data teams.
Innovation & Collaboration First Culture: Work within a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment that values open communication, creative problem-solving, and cross-border teamwork.
Comprehensive Day-1 Benefits: Enjoy full medical, dental, and vision coverage from your first day, including zero-premium healthcare options, plus a competitive 401(k) match and annual bonuses.
Sustainability Perks: Take advantage of free, onsite EV charging at our facilities, allowing you to plug in and power up while you work.
WHAT HELPS YOU BE SUCCESSFUL
3–5+ Years of Experience: Background in business, operations, or financial analysis within manufacturing, supply chain, hardware, or industrial service environments (physical product exposure is required).
Deep Epicor Kinetic Expertise: Daily hands-on experience managing purchasing, inventory, and part masters, plus proven capability building BAQs and dashboards.
Strong Technical & Analytics Stack: Proficient in SQL (Databricks/Spark SQL preferred), Python (pandas/PySpark), Advanced Excel (Macros/VBA), and Power Automate or workflow tooling.
Financial & Supply Chain Acumen: Solid understanding of revenue recognition, cost drivers, inventory modeling, and min/max safety stock planning.
Builder Mindset: Self-directed, commercially minded, and naturally inclined to automate manual work out of existence.
