THE ROLE

We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join Kempower’s legal team as a parental leave substitute. The position is fixed-term for 6 months, and we hope you can start as soon as possible. However, there is some flexibility regarding the exact start and end dates.

The position is based in Tampere or in Helsinki, with the possibility to work partly remotely.

In this role, you will become part of our international legal team and gain a unique opportunity to develop your professional skills in a fast-growing, multinational technology company. You will work closely with business stakeholders and provide practical, business-oriented legal support across a variety of matters. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative international team, while contributing to meaningful work that advances the electrification of transportation.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• Relevant educational background (Master of Laws) - you may be a recent graduate, or in the final stages of your studies

• Some relevant work experience (e.g. in a law firm or in-house legal roles); international experience is considered an asset

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

• Proactive and self-driven working style

• Professional proficiency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
