(Lead) Test Engineer

THE ROLE
As a (Lead) Test Engineer at Kempower, you’ll have an opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market. Together with the testing team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our charging solutions and directly contribute to our mission to revolutionize transportation.
ROLE SPECIFICS:
You will be taking a lead in planning the test scopes and specifications and ensure that the testing will be conducted accordingly.
Developing automated test routines and test reporting.
Creating, executing, and documenting test scenarios for the validation and verification of charging solutions.
Working together with hardware and software engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Maintaining test infrastructures and actively enhancing system testing practices for continuous improvement.
The testing team works primarily onsite at our testing facilities at Vaasa, so we hope you are able to work primarily on-site as well. However, occasional remote workdays can be discussed. This position may require occasional travel to support our global initiatives.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Educational background in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent
Previous experience in testing and test reporting frameworks
Understanding of agile product development practices
Familiarity with fundamental electronics principles such as voltage, current, resistance and power
Familiarity with product compliance testing
A proactive, flexible mindset and the ability to adapt to changing situations
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across functions
Curiosity to learn new skills and technologies, combined with a willingness to actively share knowledge
As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
