THE ROLE
As a Sales Manager, Commercial Fleets at Kempower your primary job is to focus on finding new potential customers and generate business with them, accelerating our business in France. You will search for new strong customers such as heavy vehicles / Bus OEMs, PTOs (Public Transport Operators), logistics companies, bus depot owners, marine & port segment and all the commercial fleet customers in the region.
A strong network in the heavy vehicles charging market in France is beneficial to help you achieve your goals, but strong skills as an account management is also key to success in this position. You will also have a key role in cooperating with our market segment owner (Commercial Fleets) in order to help define the strategy, offering and commercial approach to the different customers in this segment.
ROLE SPECIFICS:
Create plans and set strategic objectives
Develop and execute action plans for new and existing customers
Introduce Kempower to new customers and maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
Conduct regular customer visits to grow sales
Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers
Ensure up-to-date regional market insights and a solid understanding of market potential
Report, register and maintain up-to-date customer agreements, contact- and project data in CRM
At Kempower we work hybrid, however this role requires frequent presence at the Paris office. In this role, traveling is also required.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Commercial/economic/engineering or equivalent educational background
Strong experience in a commercial and/or technical advisory role, preferably within a B2B energy environment and working with C-level
A proven track record in both business growth and account management
Good knowledge in project sales to larger clients / KAM experience
Industry experience within Automotive, EV, e‑Mobility, Energy, or the Charging business
Leadership skills combined with strategic thinking and a focus on quality
Experience in reporting and CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
An open and positive mindset with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach and a strong drive for results
Comfort working with complex sales and decision-making processes involving multiple stakeholders, and a demonstrated ability to build trusted, long-lasting customer relationships
As our official company language is English, we expect you to have excellent English skills. This role requires also written and spoken French.
