ABOUT THE TRAINEE POSITION
We are now looking for a Commercial Excellence Trainee for approximately 3-4 months (May-end of August). The exact start and duration of the summer trainee period will be agreed separately.
As a Commercial Excellence Trainee, you will support key initiatives that improve the way our global Sales, Service, and Solutions teams operate. You will work closely with CRM, CPQ, partner portal development, and master data manager to drive improvements that enhance our commercial processes end‑to‑end.
You will also participate in developing and supporting sales and value‑based selling trainings for internal teams, giving you hands‑on exposure to real commercial excellence practices.
This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, structured, curious about digital tools, and motivated to contribute to a fast‑growing cleantech company.
Your everyday work can contain e.g. the following tasks:
Digital Tools & Systems Development
Support the improvement and maintenance of CRM (Salesforce) data, workflows, and user support.
Assist in testing CRM and CPQ flows to validate functionality after deployed changes.
Assist in the development of the Partner Portal, including testing new functionalities and gathering user feedback.
Contribute to master data quality improvements (accounts, contacts)
Process & Commercial Excellence
Help analyze and optimize Lead‑to‑Order and Service processes
Support with monthly customer satisfaction surveys with the local team
Document process changes, create training materials, and support end‑user adoption.
Assist in building reporting dashboards and commercial insights.
Training & Enablement
Support planning and organizing sales, service, and solutions team trainings.
Contribute to content creation for value‑based selling, system onboarding, and best‑practice guides.
Coordinate sessions, collect feedback, and support continuous improvement of training programs.
The position is based in Helsinki or Lahti. At Kempower we work hybrid, however, this role requires on-site presence two days per week.
WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS TRAINEE POSITION?
Ongoing studies (e.g., Business, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Sales/Marketing, or similar).
Interest in digital tools, commercial processes, and data quality.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Proactive, independent, and eager to learn.
Previous experience with Salesforce or ERP tools is a plus.
As our official company language is English, we expect you to have good English skills.

This is a paid traineeship with a monthly salary based on your completed credits and previous work experience.
