ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Service Operations Specialist, you will serve as the strategic financial performance partner for the Life-Cycle Services Department. This role bridges the gap between field activity and financial reporting by building a foundation of accurate, automated, and actionable data. You will own the operational excellence of the Spare Parts program and Service Delivery metrics, driving aftermarket revenue growth, service profitability, and technician productivity. Ultimately, this position ensures a clear understanding of the service financial "truth" at the operational level to support informed executive decision-making.
YOUR IMPACT
Master the "Financial Truth": Own the service revenue model. You’ll reconcile booked vs. recognized revenue, track deferred carryover, and deliver leadership-ready commentary on Gross Profit and EBIT.
Optimize the Supply Chain: Build consumption and "burn rate" models for spare parts. You’ll set the min/max safety stock levels that prevent stockouts while keeping our cash flow healthy.
Drive Operational Excellence: Build and maintain utilization models to quantify exactly how our technicians spend their time.
Automate Everything: Use your Python mastery and VBA macros to eliminate manual workflows.
Identify Growth Opportunities: Partner with Sales to spot revenue leaks, identify customers coming off warranty, and flag installations needing preventive maintenance.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
3–5+ years in a business analyst/operations analyst/finance analyst role (service, industrial, manufacturing, or field operations strongly preferred).
Python (Mastery Required): Proven ability to build automation, models, and repeatable analytics in Python.
Excel + VBA (Required): Advanced Excel plus ability to record and write macros (VBA) for automation and repeatable reporting.
Experience working with ERP/CRM datasets (SAP, Navision, Epicor, Salesforce or similar).
Ability to translate data into executive-ready insights and clear recommendations (not just reporting).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Knowledge of EV charging systems and industry standards.
Knowledge of EV charging standards and protocols (e.g., CCS, CHAdeMO, GB/T)
Experience reading and analyzing technical schematics.
