THE ROLE
As a Service Partner Development Manager at Kempower, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end management and performance of external service partners globally. You will ensure that our partners consistently deliver against service levels, quality standards, and business objectives, contributing to superior customer experience, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
In thisrole, you will focus on
Partner Strategy & Selection: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new service partners aligned with strategic business needs and market opportunities. Develop and execute a global service partner strategy in line with company goals and customer expectations. Lead contract development, including standard templates, negotiation guidelines, and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring optimal partner performance and value.
Performance Management & Governance: Define, monitor, and report KPIs and SLAs across the service partner network. Drive regional and operational service managers in conducting performance reviews and business assessments. Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and strengthen long-term partnerships. Implement corrective action plans for underperforming partners.
Service Partner Management: Act as the primary global contact and escalation point for service partners. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partner leadership and operational teams. Drive effective communication and alignment between internal stakeholders and external partners.
Operational Excellence: Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, efficiency, and cost savings. Standardize best practices to ensure consistency and high-quality service delivery across all markets. Provide partners with the tools, training, and support needed to succeed.
Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the global partner ecosystem, with a focus on cost structure and value creation. Collaborate internally to ensure alignment on warranty cost management.
Risk Management & Compliance: Proactively assess and mitigate risks related to global service partner operations, including regulatory compliance, data security, and business continuity. Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and legal obligations.
At Kempower, we work in a hybrid model. Our offices can be found in Lahti (HQ), Helsinki, Tampere and Vaasa.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Proven experience in building and managing global service partner strategies, from partner selection and onboarding to contract frameworks and SLAs
Expertise in managing partner performance, governance and compliance frameworks, and driving corrective action plans to strengthen long‑term partnerships
Capability to navigate in complex stakeholder environments, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external partners
Ability to communicate clearly and influence at multiple levels, both internally and externally
Financial acumen and understanding of warranty costs
Strong LEAN mindset with focus on process efficiency and smart ways of working
Ability to tolerate ambiguity and simplify complexity through process and system development
Personal drive to identify development opportunities and take the lead on new initiatives
Comfort with uncertainty while remaining persistent in maintaining clarity and progress
Adaptability in rapidly changing situations and an evolving industry
As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required; Finnish or other language skills are considered as an asset.
