THE ROLE
As a Sales Bid Manager at Kempower, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market. You will act as a project lead in bid processes, not only in the region but globally, ensuring bids are structured, compliant, and competitive to secure new business opportunities while having a direct impact on our mission to revolutionize transportation.
In this role you will,
Lead and coordinate the entire bid process from start to finish
Ensure structure, timelines, quality, and that all inputs and reviews are completed on time
Act as the main facilitator across departments and stakeholders
Work closely with product management, legal, services, finance, and quality teams to conduct feasibility checks
Analyze client requirements and tailor proposals to highlight our value
Write, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance
Facilitate kick-offs, follow-ups, and handovers to ensure smooth collaboration and information flow.
Monitor industry trends, tenders, and competitor activities to support our bid strategy
Lead cross-functional projects in strategic and complex bids, driving excellence in execution.
In this role, occasional travel is required.
At Kempower we work in a hybrid model. For this role, we are looking for someone who is living in France or in the Benelux region. We have offices in Paris, Amsterdam and Mechelen.
WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Multiple years of experience in bid management, project management or equivalent in the B2B market, e.g., in the utilities, renewables, logistics, transport, or automotive industry
A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent
Solid understanding of bid and tender processes, public and private
Knowledge of procurement regulations (EU directives & national frameworks)
Ability to identify compliance requirements and risks (legal, quality, finance, service, etc.)
Good understanding of finance fundamentals and ability to evaluate business cases effectively
Experience with tools such as Salesforce, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, or similar
Proven project management and organizational skills, with a track record of delivering results
Collaborative mindset and ability to work seamlessly across cultures and functions
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to engage external and internal stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a self-driven approach and strong accountability for results while maintaining alignment with mutual goals
What we consider as advantages,

Familiarity with high-power charging technologies and energy systems
Awareness of regulatory and compliance aspects in the industry
As our official company language is English, we expect you to have good English skills. For this role, we also expect fluency in Dutch and French.
