ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Operations Engineer, you will:
- Production Working Phase: Defines the working phase sequence of new production processes to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment costs. Ensures appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/component flow to support production targets.
- Production Improvement Projects: Identifies and recommends production process improvements, defining layout and tooling, and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to time frame, cost, and department requirements.
- Production Process: Ensures the production process complies with the project targets including quality and safety. Approves the design for processes developed internally or externally and performs the final tests regarding the project.
- Production Support: Diagnoses issues in production lines, identifies corrective action, and resolves issues, and provides training to production team as needed. Provides support to production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant to maintenance and production resources.
- Process Technologies: Evaluates process technologies (ERP/MES) to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.
- Documentation: Prepares technical documentation regarding the process phases and the related methods and cycle times.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- B.Sc. in Engineering (Production, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical).
- Over 3 years of power electronics/final assembly industry experience.
- Over 3 years of manufacturing experience and ability to identify process improvements.
- Experience utilizing CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Proven track record of delivering results in projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative style.
- Independent thinking and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Initiative with a high collaborative culture and energy level.
