ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will:
- Product Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert on our EV charging hardware product portfolio. Develop clear, concise, and compelling product messaging, value propositions, and positioning that resonate with various customer segments for our solutions.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the EV charging hardware landscape. Understand competitor hardware offerings and articulate our competitive differentiators for physical products.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide them with the technical knowledge, tools, and training necessary to effectively sell our hardware products. Participate in key customer meetings as a technical subject matter expert when needed, specifically addressing hardware specifications and capabilities.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and deliver technical product documents and demonstrations for internal teams, partners, and customers, focusing on the features and functionality of our hardware. Provide technical support to marketing and sales initiatives related to hardware.
- Voice of the Customer: Actively gather and integrate customer feedback specifically on hardware performance and features into product development and marketing strategies.
- Product Launch & Lifecycle Management: Support hardware product launches by developing comprehensive marketing plans and materials. Contribute to the entire hardware product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, by providing market insights and feedback to hardware product management and engineering teams.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in product marketing, with a strong focus on hardware products, ideally within the EV charging, renewable energy, or a related technology industry.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical hardware concepts into clear, concise, and compelling marketing messages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategy development for hardware products.
