ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will:
Reporting & Dashboard Development:
- Design, build, and maintain comprehensive sales reports and interactive dashboards in CRM Salesforce.
- Create insightful visualizations that communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pipeline health, conversion rates, sales cycle length, and win/loss analysis.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accessibility.
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from sales, marketing, and executive teams.
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data from Salesforce, ERP Kinetic and other sources to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for sales leadership.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and identify root causes for variances.
- Partner with sales managers to interpret data and drive informed business decisions.
- Audit and update data across the CRM, ERP, and Reporting tools (Salesforce, Epicor, PowerBI).
Part and Pricelist Management
- Own the Pricelist management process within Salesforce and Epicor for all North America products.
- Collaborate with Sales and Service to manage the Spare Parts process.
User Training & Documentation:
- Provide basic onboarding support for new sales users on Salesforce navigation.
- Document common issues and their resolutions to build a knowledge base in Salesforce Development Jira and Jira Confluence platforms.
- In collaboration with Sales and Marketing, maintain the Sales Playbook training materials, stored in Kempower College.
Sales Technology Administration & Optimization:
- Act as a power user and administrator for Salesforce.com, ERP Kinetic, and Power BI ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and user adoption.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and custom fields to meet business needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance Salesforce functionality and integrate with other sales tools.
- Provide training and support to sales teams on effective use of Salesforce and reporting tools.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing sales processes, data collection methods, and reporting methodologies.
- Creating specifications for development needs, building, testing, documenting, and deployment of Sales Tools in cooperation with Global Sales Operations team and other stake holders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Service, Training, Solution Support, Marketing, Finance, IT) to ensure data consistency and alignment.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of experience in a Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, or Sales Analytics role.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Power BI and dashboard creation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud) as a power user or administrator; experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards is essential.
- Understanding of Salesforce Lightning pages, approval processes and flows.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
- Solid understanding of sales methodologies, sales cycles, and key sales metrics.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Prioritization skills - this skill is crucial in succeeding in the role.
- Organizational skills, being able to handle multiple tasks in an organized way still being able to accomplish the tasks successfully.
- Problem-solving skills

- Experience with Epicor Kinetic
- Experience with Power BI
