THE ROLE
As a Sales Manager at Kempower, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market and accelerate our growth in Sweden. You are hungry for new business sales as well as nurturing and maintaining our existing, both direct as well as partner accounts, and develop the sales via these channels. You will also be responsible for finding new potential customers and through your work, making a direct impact on our mission to revolutionize transportation.
In this role, you will
- Develop and generate sales via direct accounts
- Reach out to potential clients through proactive calls
- Collaborate with our Sales and Service network
- Evaluate opportunities and define the route to market based on customer profile
- Analyse customer needs, bring innovative proposals, and make them into tangible solutions together with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
- Follow-up on sales opportunities daily via online and f2f meetings, phone, and e-mail
- Report on the sales activities and results timely through the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Participate in exhibitions and seminars, locally or abroad
- Engage in close collaboration with colleagues in headquarters in Finland to fulfil customer expectations technically, commercially and in a timely fashion
- Follow up EV and EV charging market development, and propose business model or product development initiatives based on them
At Kempower we work hybrid. Our offices in Sweden are in Stockholm and Gothenburg. While we prefer candidates based on or near the west coast of Sweden, we welcome applicants from across the country. Flexibility and the right fit are what matter most to us.
In this role regular travel in Sweden, the Nordics and the HQ in Finland is required.
WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in solution sales in the B2B market e.g., utilities, renewables, logistics, transport or automotive industries
- Overall technical interest and understanding. Experience in EV charging industry is seen as an advantage.
- Solid track record of being a top performer and exceeding commercial targets
- Self-starter character who enjoys working in a growing, fast-paced, and disruptive environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Superior organizational, time management, and negotiation skills as well as a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience in working in a growth company
As our official company language is English, we expect you to have excellent verbal and written English skills. In this role, as you will be supporting our growth in Sweden, fluency in Swedish is also required.
