ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Evaluate customer needs and develop tailored sales strategies, including the integration of charging hardware, software, and services.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Provide customer feedback to the Product Management team to help with product improvement and updates.
- Channel Management: Collaborate with the after-sales team to manage and develop the sales and service partner network.
- Sales Execution: Actively engage with customers through various channels (face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails) to drive sales opportunities.
- Sales Reporting: Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to accurately track and report on sales activities and results.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on EV charging market trends and provide recommendations to address evolving customer needs.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and close agreements, including frame and purchasing agreements.
- Market Representation: Represent the company at industry exhibitions and seminars to expand business opportunities.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in EV technology or power electronics a plus.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving top-performer status.
- Strong understanding of the EV charging industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce).
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS (PREFERRED):
- Experience working in an international environment. • Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation.
