We are now looking for a Summer Trainee to work at the reception of our headquarters in Lahti for approximately 2 months (June-July). The exact dates of the summer trainee period will be agreed separately with the selected person.

This is a paid traineeship. We offer a monthly salary based on the number of credit points you have completed and previous work experience.

THE ROLE

As a Summer Trainee at Kempower, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of our mission in revolutionizing transportation. On a typical day, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, providing a welcoming and professional experience.

Your responsibilities will include,

• Greeting our visitors and handling port monitoring/security

• Managing switchboard calls and processing mail

• Providing guidance and information for external visitors, such as customers, and internal personnel

• Supporting in various other administrative tasks

For this role, strong written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English are required.

As you will be working at the reception of our headquarters, working on-site in Lahti is required. Working hours will be Mon-Fri between 8:00-16:00.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• Studies e.g. in Business Administration or similar

• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively

• A friendly, professional demeanor with a proactive and can-do attitude

• Previous experience or a strong interest in working in customer service

• Reliability and punctuality are essential, as this role requires being present and ready to assist our visitors at the start of each workday

• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems

• Interest and knowledge in other languages than Finnish and English is considered a plus as we host visitors and answer inquiries from all around the world
