THE ROLE
The Solutions and Service Manager leads a regional team in pre-sales and after-sales operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This role combines technical expertise, strategic leadership, and communication to align customer outcomes with organizational goals.
The role comes with responsibilities such as,
- Streamlining processes for ticket prioritization, technical support, and issue resolution.
- Providing structured training and clear communication to improve team performance.
- Building, maintaining and developing a skilled team of Solution and Service Engineers to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborating with sales teams to deliver technical guidance and customer value propositions.
- Conducting site assessments, ensuring compatibility and addressing potential installation challenges.
- Developing strategies for product and installation configurations tailored to customer needs.
- Leading technical presentations and highlighting solution benefits.
- Overseeing daily operations to ensure SLAs are met and service quality is maintained.
- Using performance data to identify trends and optimizing service delivery
- Serving as the regional liaison with HQ to escalate and resolve service issues.
- Developing service partner skills, ensuring work quality, and support onboarding.
- Conducting partner performance audits and organizing service training.
- Reviewing warranty claims, tracking product quality, and providing feedback for continuous improvement
At Kempower we work hybrid. This position is located in Germany, some team members are located outside of Germany but in the region.
In this role, occasional travelling is required.
WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- 5+ years of experience in technical services or solutions development
- A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or related field) is a strong advantage
- Experience with EVDC fast-charging technologies or related infrastructure.
- Background in managing technical support, service operations or after-sales. ·
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, hardware installation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, technical support, and JIRA or similar tools.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven experience managing technical teams and fostering collaboration.
- Ability to streamline processes, conduct audits, and implement training programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
- You are customer-focused with commitment to delivering high-quality results, analytical and skilled in interpreting technical data for strategic decisions, team-oriented to ensure effective collaboration with cross-functional and global teams, and adaptable who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Our official company language is English and therefore we expect you to have good English skills. In this role, native German is also expected. Other languages are considered a plus.
