ABOUT THE ROLE
A Sales Manager to accelerate our business in The Netherlands. Your job is to
find potential clients and generate business with them. You identify CPO
(Charge Point Operators) and Retail customers in order to build strong
relationships with these clients. As a Sales Manager, you will be also
responsible for our business development activities for the Retail sector, by
identifying, interviewing and consulting players in this growing segment. You
will have a key role cooperating with our market segment owner (CPO/Retail)
in order to help define the strategy, offering and approach to the different
groups in this segment.
Your daily task will include:
- Develop and generate sales via direct accounts (CPO’s, Retail chains,
Utilities) - Collaborate with our Sales and Service partner network
- Evaluate opportunities and define route to market based on customer
profile - Analyze customer needs, bring innovative proposals and make them
into tangible solutions together with customer and internal
stakeholders (segment marketing team) - Analyze and develop our team performance
- Follow-up of the sales opportunities on daily basis via f2f meetings,
phone and e-mail - Report on the sales activities and results timely through CRM system
(Sales Force) - Participation in exhibitions and seminars locally or abroad
- Close collaboration with colleagues in headquarters in Finland in order to fulfill customer expectations technically, commercially and timely
- Follow-up EV and EV charging market development and propose
business model or product development initiatives based on them
In this role, occasional travelling is required.
At Kempower we work hybrid. We do also offer a brand-new office in Amsterdam for this role. You can be located in the DACH region.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or business administration
- Minimum 5 years working experience in technical solution sales in
B2B market - Experience in EV charging industries are remarkable merits
- Solid track record of being top performer and exceeding commercial
targets - Self-starter character who enjoys working in a growing, fast-paced
and disruptive environment - Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Superior organizational, time management, and negotiation skills as
well as a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset - Experience in working in international company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and
English - Ability to travel across The Netherlands to meet customers
As our official company language is English, we expect you to have good English skills. Also, fluent Dutch is required.
