ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Product Specialist, you will:

• Support Kempower charging products and solutions for North America
• Responsible for generating content for technical specifications, datasheets, brochures, websites and maintenance of existing product line documentation in coordination with the technical documentation team and the marketing communication team
• Serve as a product technical resource for the sales engineering and for escalated customer issues when needed
• Assist in creating North American focused sales presentations, lunch and learns, and other material to support sales enablement
• Perform industry research and conduct competitive analysis for internal use and support of the sales team
• Help establish Voice of Customer tools and assist the product manager with generation of product requirements for new products and product changes
• Represent Kempower by attending industry conferences and events
• Manage the Kempower movable charger product line and grow to take on more responsibility for various product improvement projects

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Bachelors degree from an accredited educational institution
• Minimum two (2) years of sales, engineering, program management or professional marketing experience
• Ability to travel up to 20 %
• Strong attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Customer-oriented mindset and independent working skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
• A self-starter who is able to complete tasks with limited guidance
• Comfortable working in a “start-up” like atmosphere
• Have a strong desire for learning, with aptitude for understanding technical topics
• Hybrid work arrangement based out of Durham, NC
• Previous work supporting EV charging, electric vehicles, power conversion equipment, or related fields a plus
